(Schools that have been low-performing two consecutive years or two years out of the last three years.)

Continually Low-Performing — Level II
(Schools that have been low-performing three consecutive years or three out of the last four years.)

Voluntary Assistance
(Schools are notified of their eligibility to receive services and are invited to an orientation session)
1. High Priority Schools
  (Schools with 80% of students qualifying free or reduced lunch rates and less than 55% of students at proficiency)

Title I Schools
1. Schools that did not make AYP for the second consecutive year based on spring 2002 assessment remain in Title I School Improvement and are subject to federal sanctions based on their status.
