1998-99 ABCs Report Card, Volume I - Assistance Teams
Assignments of Assistance Teams 1999-2000
There are twelve K-8 assistance teams and three high school assistance teams trained
and ready to begin work for the 1999-2000 school year. The proposed plan is to assign the
teams as follows:
I. Seven assistance teams will be assigned the lowest-performing regular K-8 public
schools. They are:

II. Five assistance teams will work with:
- Seven (7) No Recognition schools with assistance teams from 1997-98 (as requested),
- Nine (9) Low-Performing schools with assistance teams from 1998-99 (as requested), and
- Six (6) low-Performing charter public schools (as requested).
III. The Division of School Improvement will work with:
- Ten (10) schools with performance composite less than 50.0 and
- Twenty five (25) schools with a performance composite between 50.1-55.0
