Sample Math Grids and EOC English II Response Area for Student Marks Answers in Test Book Test Administrations
Students with the Student Marks Answers in Test Book accommodation do not receive an answer sheet during testing.  Therefore, in order to provide them with equitable access to the demands of the gridded response items and constructed response items, schools may provide these students with the sample grids and sample response space during testing.  These documents should be printed locally and treated as secure test materials once printed for testing purposes.  The documents may be enlarged locally for students who require large print materials.

Teachers may also use these documents before testing day as a resource to prepare students for testing.  The documents do not need to be considered secure under these circumstances.

 

Students with Disabilities/Testing Accommodations Reports
The reports below provide data on the participation of students with disabilities (i.e., students with IEPs) in statewide reading and mathematics assessments with and without testing accommodations.

Test Accommodations Charts
The following charts are available to LEAs for use in documenting students' required testing accommodations in Section 504 Plans, Limited English Proficient (LEP) plans/documentation, and transitory impairment documentation.

Use of these charts is strongly encouraged by the NCDPI. The charts are modeled after the IEP DEC 4 (6 of 10) North Carolina Testing Program accommodations chart, and will therefore facilitate the consistent documentation of required testing accommodations for students across plan types. The DEC 4 IEP form is available at http://ec.ncpublicschools.gov/policies/forms/statewide-forms.
