The North Carolina End-of-Course Test for Physics is used to sample a student’s knowledge of concepts as specified in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for Physics (Content Standards) and to provide a global estimate of the student’s mastery of the course material in Physics. The end-of-course test must be administered during the last week (block schedule or summer school) or the last two weeks (traditional schedule) of the instructional period.
