ACADEMIC EDUCATION RESEARCH

CONTACT :: Lou Fabrizio, Ph.D., Director, Data, Research and Federal Policy

NCDPI recognizes the importance of using the best available research to make policy decisions. The state has a responsibility to ensure that it is investing in students’ lives using the most effective educational approaches, that public funds are being wisely spent, and that decisions are being made objectively.  To support this use, NCDPI collaborated with the SERVE Center at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to create the Academic Education Research webpage. SERVE is a university-based research, development, dissemination, evaluation, and technical assistance center. This webpage is organized around select topics relevant to those seeking information on education issues. This list will evolve over time as resources permit.
