Brief Description: What is creativity and how is it developed? How can exploring your creative spirit enhance your students’ creative potential? It was Albert Einstein who said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” In our increasingly globalized and rapidly changing world, the ability to innovate and imagine new possibilities is vital. Embark on a journey to unleash your imagination as we look at contemporary views of intelligence, learning, and creative thought. Awaken your imagination through a combination of experiential exercises to awaken the creativity through poetry, visual expression, and movement. Through activities and reflection we will discover new strategies to enhance your students’ creative potential and find applications across the curriculum.
