STUDENTS DELIVER TEEN JUSTICE
Jerod Lowe arrives in court wearing a blazer, bow tie and slacks. He reviews the docket and prepares for the lineup of offenders.The young prosecutor eventually wraps up his cases and heads home. It's a school night after all.Lowe is a senior at Forestview High School. For four years Lowe has been an integral part of a team – Gaston County's Teen Court.He and his teammates meet twice a month to resolve cases against their peers.Their efforts ease stress on the court system and have garnered state recognition.The experience also pointed Lowe toward a career in law.
