Kennedy School
Kennedy Charter Public School provides a safe, dynamic, and positive learning environment for students 6-12 at risk of failure in traditional school settings. Academic and behavioral goals are clearly defined for each student within a constructive, highly structrued, learninng environment that is conducive to student acheivement. Student assistance & guidance counseling services are available to all students. College preparation and career planning are vital components. Over 50% of students live in group homes, foster homes or non-custodial parent situations. Students often are drop outs, or two to three grade levels behind upon entrance.

Learning Center
The Learning Center is a K-7th, expanding to 8th, school that is known for its innovative methods of teaching and promoting creative programs and approaches to learning. The multi-learning style approach to educationuses the Four Blocks method for language arts, Houghton Mifflin math, and across-the-curriculum science, technology and social studies programs.Both Reading and Math Intervention Programs are offered during the school day and through after school programs. Our nationally recognized nutrition program offers many extras such as Small Bites, Super Snack and Garden-Based Learning.
