Brevard Academy graduate to be literate, articulate, competent in information communication and technology, creative across the curriculum and globally aware. To this end, the School has adopted Core Knowledge as the foundation of its curriculum. We strive to educate the whole child and continually resist the temptation to teach solely to the test. We develop enthusiasm for investigative learning, encouraging children to think creatively and produce original ideas. We recognize not all learning takes place in the classroom and see the landscape as a teaching tool; for there are many sources of knowledge in the world, but the greatest source of information has always been nature itself.
