The Educational Program of Roxboro Community School is based on William Purkey's Invitational Theory of Teaching and Learning. This theory will be used to create a school-wide climate conducive to learning through trust, respect, optimism, and intentionality. The Roxboro Community School, by incorporating the Invitational Theory, the Core Knowledge Curriculum for grades 7 -- 8 and the North Carolina College / University Preparatory Course of Study for grades 9 -- 12.
