REGIONAL SERVICES

Career and Technical Education provides comprehensive regional services and support for LEA CTE administrators, CTE support personnel and CTE teachers through the CTE Regional Coordinator position. Services include facilitating LEA implementation of the CTE Standard Course of Study; providing technical assistance to LEAs on CTE issues; monitoring LEA compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, laws, policies and procedures; facilitating the LEA-level Local Plan processes; collaborating with DPI, CTE sections of DPI and the CTE Division to plan and communicate directions for CTE, facilitating and/or providing professional development for CTE administrators, CTE support personnel and CTE teachers, providing for the CTE Administrative Internship Program, assisting with College Tech Prep and High Schools That Work initiatives, implementing the CTE Strategic plan, and encouraging local partnerships and alliance for CTE purposes.
