The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006
Provides increased focus on the academic achievement of career and technical education students, strengthens the connections between secondary and postsecondary education, and improves state and local accountability.
North Carolina's Five-Year Plan for Career and Technical Education
Approved by the state Board of Education in April 2008 and accepted by the U.S. Education Department in July 2008. This plan guides the implementation of Career and Technical Education in North Carolina, including CTE accountability measures .
