40-HOUR NEW TEACHER INDUCTION FOR 2011-2012

The Career and Technical Education state staff is offering Modules 1 - 4 to meet the DPI-sponsored 40-hour staff development requirement for provisionally licensed Career and Technical Education teachers. These 10-hour modules are especially designed for provisionally licensed Career and Technical Education teachers, but all new CTE teachers are encouraged to participate. Modules 1- 3 will be conducted at the Holiday Inn Brownstone Hotel, 1707 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh. Module 4 will be a pre-conference session at the 2012 CTE Summer Conference.

There will be no on-site registration.

Participants should make their own hotel reservations by phoning the Holiday Inn Brownstone Hotel, 919.828.0811 (Hotel), or 800.331.7919 (In-House Reservations). In order to receive the conference rate, mention the group name "CTE 40-Hour Induction Workshop."

Teachers who still need credits for their ongoing 80-hour requirement should contact their program area consultant to determine which session(s) would provide the credits they need:
