North Carolina Health Occupations Education teachers have the opportunity to offer Nurse Aide Level I training to qualified students. The Department of Public Instruction signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation that gives management responsibility for Nurse Aide Level I training of Allied Health Sciences II completers to the Health Occupations Education Nurse Aide office.
