American Association of Family and Consumer
Sciences (AAFCS)

The North Carolina Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NCAFCS) is the North Carolina affiliate of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
The FACS Division of NCACTE is the Family and Consumer Sciences Division of the North Carolina Association for Career and Technical Education. This division provides opportunities for networking and professional development.

NCHOETA is the state organization dedicated to the support of Health Occupations Education teachers.
National Consortium for Health Science Education (NCHSE)
This is a national organization of individuals and industry partners dedicated to health science education. The focus is to produce a well qualified health care workforce through conferences, professional development, integrated curriculum products, and a national assessment of the National Healthcare Foundations Skills. NCHSE works closely and in support of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).
