The Tomorrow Project . . .

Tomorrow, When the War Began . . .

This is first title of the Tomorrow series, one of the most popular series for young adults in the world. The series, begun almost twelve years ago, is poignantly more relevant to us now in the 21st century. Long on action and adventure, the story is beautifully told through the eyes of Ellie, a strong teenage girl who chronicles the story of a small group of teenagers who resist an invasion of their homeland, Australia.

Timing is perfect for us to feature this series because it will soon be published in paperback for the first time in the United States. Look for a paperback publication date in June. We hope to encourage a vanguard of young adults and adults to check out this awesome series.

So we're inviting young adults and interested adults, including teachers, media coordinators, and parents, to read and discuss online the Tomorrow series and then meet with author, John Marsden, on in a live Web cast on Monday, April 24, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Participants can submit questions ahead of time on the Tomorrow Forum and interact during the live web cast via our Instant Message Board. We will invite the author to select the most interesting, thoughtful questions that will contribute to our literary inquiry.
