Technical Assistance to Rural State Education Agencies, Districts, and High School Graduation Initiative Grantees
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Education has selected North Carolina and 14 other states to receive technical assistance related to dropout prevention and re-entry programs. The Department's contractor, Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) along with the American Institute for Research (AIR) and DPI, will provide guidance for the initiative.
Three local school districts (Clinton City Schools, Sampson County Schools and Jones County Schools) welcomed the opportunity to dialogue with U. S. Department of Education and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction staff providing information that will aid in the design of technical assistance for NC and other states.
