The
Behavioral Support Services Regional Consultants provide technical assistance,
support and direct training to personnel in the school systems. They work directly
with Positive Behavioral Support Programs, Day Treatment Programs and Alternative
Schools. They serve on Eckerd Camp Screening Committees and Hard-to-Serve Children
and Youth Committees in order to coordinate services for students who are served
by other agencies or have extreme behavioral difficulties.
School Based Mental Health
Information about how school systems can work with local mental health agencies
and private providers to provide mental health support and therapy in schools.
Positive Behavioral Support
Information on programs, PBS application, budget proposal and questions pertaining
to positive behavioral support.
Eckerd Camp Screening
Committees
The objective of the camping program is to aid children and youth
in developing appropriate social relationship skills,
problem-solving skills, and personal values which can be
transferred to their home, school, and community setting.
