North Carolina Teacher Corps helps set members up for success!

  • As a NCTC participant, you will be a full-time teacher, receive a full salary and be eligible for comprehensive health benefits from your employing school district while you complete teacher certification.
  • You will receive assistance towards the cost of tuition and fees for teacher certification. You will also receive assistance to help cover the costs of required Praxis II test(s) and travel reimbursement for training sessions (when applicable.)
  • You will receive ongoing support while working on your teaching certification and you will participate in intensive training opportunities (face to face and online) designed to ensure your success in the classroom.
  • You will receive assistance and support with job placement in one of NCTC’s partner districts in NC.
  • You will also have leadership development opportunities and will have a network of support from other NCTC candidates.
