SCHOLARSHIPS & LOANS

Several scholarship programs are available in North Carolina to assist those who wish to enter the teaching field. Listed below is some information with a brief description and links to the appropriate content and contacts. If you are a teacher seeking information for loan cancellations, unfortunately the State of North Carolina does not have any programs. However, the federal government does have some partial and full cancellations and deferments for some of their loan programs, e.g. Stafford loans, Perkins loans, etc. For information on the federal loan cancellations and deferments, please visit the Federal Student Aid website.
