Welcome to the Enhanced K-3 Formative Assessment Grant document repository. This is a record of the assessment and implementation support documents developed under a federal EAG grant (2014-2017) that formed a multi-state consortium led by North Carolina and research partners, SRI International, Child Trends and BUILD.

The Enhanced Assessment materials were developed via funding from the United States Department of Education. They do not represent the policy of USED, the North Carolina State Board of Education, the Federal Government or the State of North Carolina.

These documents are open source. They may be copied and distributed freely. Please do not modify documents and please acknowledge authorship.

Do not confuse this Enhanced Assessment with North Carolina’s Kindergarten Entry Assessment or North Carolina’s K3 Formative Assessment Process.
