IT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
OFFICE MISSION :: The mission of the IT Program Management Office (IT PMO) is to identify and support DPI’s business goals by working with its valuable LEA and DPI internal customers to align to and ensure that all IT resources are focused on meeting or exceeding those business goals. These goals are approved by Leadership and contribute to the successful education of North Carolina children.The IT PMO uses the expert judgment, skills and abilities of its business analysts, project managers and technical architects to provide on time delivery of IT solutions that meet high quality standards. The IT PMO assumes a strong leadership role in agency and LEA technology and is a trusted advisor to the DPI Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer offering standards, methodologies and best practices scalable to the tasks at hand, thereby, reducing IT costs and returning value to its customers.
VISION :: The IT PMO will become the trusted advisor that is counted on in K-12 public education and state government to get the right IT job done right the first time and delivered on schedule by a staff who challenges themselves each day.
