IT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE

Program Management is the administration of Programs in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits not available from managing them independently. Programs managed in the IT PMO include:

• CECAS – Comprehensive Exceptional Children Accountability System
• Exceptional Children Grants
• HRMS – LEA Human Resource Management System
• PPMS – Career-Technical Education Planning and Performance Management System
• NC School Report Cards
• The ABCs of Public Education reporting website

The IT PMO also manages a variety of other initiatives and programs designed to fulfill the business needs of the North Carolina educational community.  The IT PMO is also responsible for developing and implementing technology policies, processes, and standards for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
