SCHOOL PERSONNEL

The School Personnel Support Section provides our stakeholders with timely and accurate information related to employment relations and employee benefits. An essential element of this mission is the training, support and assistance provided to personnel administrators in North Carolina's public schools.

Our primary stakeholders are the personnel administrators and employees of the public schools of our state. However, we collaborate closely with public and private agencies related to education. We work closely with personnel evaluations, federal and state laws pertaining to employment and benefits for public school employees, and staff development for administrative personnel.

• Personnel Administrators of North Carolina (PANC): PANC is an organization comprised of LEA central office personnel administrators. The primary focus of this organization is to provide staff development, training, and support for school personnel officers in all areas related to human resource functions.
