NC Education Lottery
The net proceeds of the North Carolina Education Lottery will go to education expenses, including reduced class size in early grades, academic prekindergarten programs, school construction, and scholarships for needy college and university students.


E-Rate for NC Schools

The E-Rate program is administered by the Schools and Libraries Division of the Universal Service Administrative Company. The program was set up in 1997 when the Federal Communications Commission adopted a Universal Service Order implementing the Telecommunications Act of 1996. The Order was designed to ensure that all eligible schools and libraries have affordable access to modern telecommunications and information services.

Local Government Records
NC Office of Archives and History. The primary mission of the Government Records Branch is to provide and administer records management services to state government agencies, local government agencies, and state-supported institutions of higher education in North Carolina in accordance with General Statutes 121 and 132 and the mandate provided in these laws for the preservation of the historical record of this state.
