Consolidated State Performance Report
The Consolidated State Performance Report is submitted annually to the U.S. Department
of Education to report on multiple No Child Left Behind programs. One purpose
of this report is to encourage the integration of State, local, and ESEA (Elementary
and Secondary Education Act) programs in planning and service delivery.
Ed Flex
Ed-flex allows the Secretary of Education to delegate to states with strong
accountability safeguards the authority to waive certain federal requirements
that may impede local efforts to carry out educational reform and improve
education. It does not, however, allow states to waive requirements the
federal government places on states.
