GOVERNING DOCUMENTS

The Governor's Education Transformation Commission (GETC) was created by Executive Order on September 27, 2010. Bylaws implementing this order and governing the work of the Commission were adopted at the GETC's first meeting in November. These documents are available below.

The Race to the Top (RttT) Initiative – Career & College: Ready, Set, Go! – is a collaborative effort across the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and guided by the State Board of Education and the Governor's Education Transformation Commission. The RttT Organizational Chart highlights members of this collaborative effort.
