TEACHING AND LEARNING CONTENT
The NCDPI has gathered, vetted and aligned content for placement in Home Base, including new content developed around, and existing content aligned to, the Common Core and the North Carolina Essential Standards in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
Content analysts have vetted and tagged instructional content for grades K-12 that is published in the state bank of Instructional Materials in Schoolnet. These are primarily free, open education resources to which the NC Summary Rubric has been applied.
Some of our open education resources come from organizations such as Britannica Digital Learning, Thinkfinity, the Ohio Resource Center, PBS Teacher, LEARN NC, the OER Commons, SAS Curriculum Pathways, NASA’s Spacelink, Students at the Center, the Khan Academy, Federal Resources for Educational Excellence, and many more!
