If your LEA has teachers who help with building your benchmark assessments, this document describes the process to set the teacher up with the appropriate roles and access level in order to access benchmark items and build benchmark assessments. Please note this is a newly revised process for 2014-15. The previous documentation on this access is no longer valid due to user management changes within the latest release of the system. It is important to note that the new process for giving teacher access to create benchmark assessments should be given only when a teacher is working on benchmarks and should be removed when this level of access to not needed.

Option 1 – SOME Teachers have Access for Teachers to Share Assessments. • This document provides information for manually setting up individual teachers with the role “Access for Teachers to Share Assessments.” This is the recommended option for allowing a small group of teachers to build shared classroom and school assessments that they can then recommend or assign within their school.
