Sep 19, 2013	TIMS Extract Student Records Missing	Student enrollment date in TIMS needs to match actual first day of school, not a date earlier than first day of school. If NEW students were enrolled over the summer and the Data Manager entered a date BEFORE the first day of school (example -- enrollment date = 8/2/13 when they received the paperwork rather than 8/26/13 when school started) then Powerschool may not see them as a current student for 2013-2014 when the TIMS Extract is generated and they are being excluded from the extract. A report to help identify any students that have an entry date before the start of school can be found at the indciated URL. It is advisable to run this at the school level instead of the LEA level. Sep 18, 2013	TIMS Extract Student Records Missing	Student enrollment date in TIMS needs to match actual first day of school, not a date earlier than first day of school. The number of students impacted by this issue, if any, will vary based on the methods of your PowerSchool Data Managers. The students impacted can likely be identified in Powerschool by generating a report of students (System Reports / Enrollment Summary by Date) that are new to the LEA this year, with an Enrollment Date listed that is prior to the first day of school. Changing these enrollment dates to coincide with the first day of school results in a TIMS extract that DOES include these previously missing students.		Can be addressed now.
Sep 16, 2013	TIMS and Newly Enrolled Students -- Sometimes new students not pulled into TIMS extract.	NCDPI is working with Pearson to research the cause of this and prepare a fix.		Time TBD.
