Account Locked:
- Password lockouts occur on the 3rd failed attempt. The account is placed in a temporary "lock-out" status. After 1 hour you can try again or contact your LEA NCID Administrator. (https://www.ncid.its.state.nc.us/LEAListing.asp)
Invalid Log in Credentials:
- Verify that user name and password are correct by visiting https://ncid.nc.gov and log in to the page. Contact your administrator if you need assistance (https://www.ncid.its.state.nc.us/LEAListing.asp).
Password Expired:
- Verify that your user name is entered correctly and click on "forgot password". This will prompt your challenge questions. Answering those correctly will enable you to be able to change your password. If you answer your challenge questions incorrectly twice, your account will lock. If you do not know the answers to your challenge questions, please contact your administrator (https://www.ncid.its.state.nc.us/LEAListing.asp ) for a password reset.
Password Changed Too Recently:
- If you have forgotten your password but have changed it within the past 15 days, you must contact your local NCID administrator, (https://www.ncid.its.state.nc.us/LEAListing.asp) for a password reset.
