For State and Local Government Users– Getting Started

Users are defined with the following criteria:

  • Local Government Employee - A person currently employed or assigned to work for a North Carolina county, K-12 Public/Charter School,  Municipality
  • Business User - A person requesting access to the state of North Carolina services on the behalf of a business
  • Individual - A person requesting access to the State of North Carolina services as an individual or citizen

New Business and Individual users must self-register for NCID located here: https://ncidp.nc.gov/pmf/Registration.html

Local Government Employee's are registered by the Charter/LEA NCID Administrator which can be found here: https://www.ncid.its.state.nc.us/LEAListing.asp
