First Year Choice Template Letter
This sample parent notification letter is appropriate for districts to send when a school enters Title I School Improvement and offers parents the option to transfer their child(ren) to another designated school.

This template can be used when a district needs to communicate to parents that a Title I School Improvement school made Adequate Yearly Progress in the most recent tested year, but is still under sanctions. The template features an example for a school continuing to offer public school choice, however, sections from templates at any sanction level can be substituted.
