CHARTER SCHOOLS UPDATE
The Tuesday, Feb. 1 tour of select charter schools in the Raleigh and Durham areas by State Board of Education members has been cancelled.
The Charter Schools Advisory Committee will meet on Feb. 3 at noon with newly approved charter schools to sign their charter school agreements and present their charter documents and $60,000 federal start-up checks. The event will take place in the First Floor Auditorium, Education Building, 301 N. Wilmington St., Raleigh.
