NC SCHOOL INNOVATION DAY TOUR IS NOV. 18
North Carolinians are invited to see firsthand the innovations that are underway in public schools statewide on Tuesday, Nov. 18, the date of the first NC School Innovation Day Tour at more than 125 public schools in 65 school districts.
Participating schools and programs will be open for visitors from 10 am to 2 p.m. No reservation or RSVP is necessary for this opportunity, sponsored by the NC Department of Public Instruction.
State Superintendent June Atkinson encouraged North Carolinians to visit participating schools. "Schools today are adopting innovative and creative ways to engage students, and I hope North Carolinians will take this opportunity to see first-hand the new ways that learning is changing in North Carolina," she said.
