PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD EXTENDED FOR EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN POLICIES' REVISIONS

Feb. 8 is the new deadline to submit comments regarding the Department of Public Instruction's proposed amendments to sections of "Policies Governing Services for Children with Disabilities" pursuant to Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA).

Proposed amendments to the "Policies Governing Services for Children with Disabilities" are available for review online at www.ncpublicschools.org/ec . When commenting, please cite the section(s) to which you are commenting and provide the comments in statement form. Comments may be submitted via email to NCPolicies2009@dpi.state.nc.us or by regular mail to:
