In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding contracts utilizing Race to the Top funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to Mid-Continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL). This contract will provide the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction with an End User License Agreement (EULA) that will give all schools in the State of North Carolina electronic access to the online Teacher & Principal Evaluation Instruments. The service will provide immediate access to the instruments, service desk support, data export capability, and security. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Thursday, June 16, 2011.
