This list is not complete or all encompassing of websites that provide support for our program; however, these links can be used to assist in instruction. Links have been coded to designate the appropriate audience. Codes are as follows and are noted in Bold:

National Endowment
for Financial Education (PC, T, S): High School Financial Planning Program
shared in Personal Financial workshops across North Carolina. Teachers are
encouraged to utilize their pre-and post-surveys to measure student knowledge
and growth.
National Council on Economic Education: EconEdLink (PC, T, S) lessons offers online economic teaching materials and lessons.
The Stock Market Game (T) gives students the chance to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in a real time portfolio.
North Carolina Department of State Treasurer (PC, T, S) provides the Skills Set Survey information.
National Consumers League Debit Cards: Beyond Cash and Checks, (PC, T, S) features downloadable brochure about the responsible and safe use of debit cards.
Mastercard (T, S) "Master Your Future", helps teens gain critical financial and money management skills; includes technological financial tools.
North Carolina Attorney General's Office (T, S) provides information on ID Theft and Fraud.
National Conference of State Legislatures (T) provides national and state legislation about Personal Financial Literacy.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (Youth Education) (PC, T, S)
MoneySKILL (T, S) , is a personal finance course which is highly interactive, reality-based Internet curriculum and FREE.
VISA (PC, T, S) , offers practical money skills for life, and provides home and school resources for teens to develop personal financial literacy skills.
U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt Features Money Math: (PC, T, S) Lessons for Life using real life examples.
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (PC, T, S) provides numerous consumer links, e.g., safe internet banking, CD, tips for savers, and my money.
Mymoney.gov (PC, T, S) is a starting point for information intended by the US government to help improve the financial literacy and education of persons in the United States.
Tips for Kids (S) is an educational program that simulates real-life situations in order to stimulate critical thinking and problem solving skills in students.
Cool Math 4 Kids (PC, T, S) offers a variety of fun math games and problem solving.
Escape from Knap (S) the U.S. Bank is the sponsor of Escape from Knab, and has created a fun tool to enable young adults to make better financial decisions.
Feed the Pig (PC, T, S) is sponsored by AICPA, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This is fun site designed to remind you to "feed the pig". There are tools, a quiz, and lots of tips and resources that will help you to think through your spending and savings habits, and identify ways to make changes to reduce your debt.

- Tweens (S) is a sub page of Feed the Pig and is fun site geared towards 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
The Government Accountability Office (PC, T) explains the federal government’s role in improving financial literacy.
Money Management International (PC) is the largest family of credit counseling agencies design to help consumers find the tools and solutions they need to achieve financial freedom. You'll find resources for professional financial guidance, credit counseling, community-wide educational programs, debt management assistance, and bankruptcy counseling.
Money Factory (T) The Bureau of Engraving and Printing's public education program for the new currency includes classroom education materials that meet or exceed national education standards and are available-free of charge-to parents, teachers, and students. Hands on Banking (PC, T) is a free, fun financial education program that presents the basics of smart money management in an easy-to-use format. Topics include budgeting, the importance of saving, bank accounts and services, borrowing money, establishing credit, investing, and more. The curriculum is customized for four age groups from 4th grade through adults.
Money Math: Lessons for Life (T) is a four-lesson curriculum supplement for middle school math classes, teaching grades 7-9 math concepts using real-life examples from personal finance.
