PBIS 10-11 Evaluation Report
A growing number of high schools are participating in PBIS. Overall average graduation rates as well as average graduation rates for students with disabilies at schools implementing PBIS for at least 4 years are higher than the NC average graduation rate.

PBIS 09-10 Evaluation Report
During the 09-10 school year, participation in PBIS continued to grow as suspension rates at implementing schools decreased again, continuing a 5-year trend. Suspension rates average 15% lower in PBIS implementing schools than the average state suspension rate. At PBIS Exemplar schools, suspension rates were half the state rate, and 95% of these schools met expected academic growth targets.

PBIS 08-09 Evaluation Report
As the number of schools participating in PBIS continues to grow, the statewide average on PBIS fidelity assessments is improving. Office discipline referral data in NC's PBIS schools continues to compare favorably with national averages.
