National Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and
Supports (PBIS)
The Center has been established by the Office of Special Education Programs,
US Department of Education to give schools capacity-building information and
technical assistance for identifying, adapting, and sustaining effective school-wide
disciplinary practices.
The Illinois PBIS Network
The mission of the Illinois PBIS Network is to build skills and capacity of PBIS
district and school-based leadership teams through training, coaching and technical
assistance. The focus is assisting schools in developing structures for teaching
expected behaviors and social skills, creating student behavioral and academic
support systems, and applying data-based decision-making to discipline, academics
and social/emotional learning at the school, district, regional and state levels.

The Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law
To protect and advance the rights of adults and children who have mental
disabilities. The Center envisions an America where people who have mental

or developmental disabilities exercise their own life choices and have
access to the resources that enable them to participate fully in their
