RURAL EDUCATION ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM (REAP)
Title VI, Part B, Subparts 1 and 2 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 establishes two programs to address the unique needs of rural school districts that frequently lack the personnel and resources needed to compete effectively for Federal competitive grants, and receive formula grant allocations in amounts too small to be effective in meeting their intended purposes.
Rural Initiative:
- Subpart 1 - Small, Rural School Achievement Program (SRSA)
- Subpart 2 - Rural, Low-income Schools Program (RLIS)
