PUBLIC NOTICES 2011-12 :: AUGUST 2, 2011


In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding contracts utilizing Race to the Top funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to MCNC NC STEM Community Collaborative to create and manage a formal process and tools to support a subset of K-12 schools, districts, and state/national partners to share and adopt current, effective, and promising practices more quickly and efficiently in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) teaching, learning, and professional development practices as outlined in the Race to the Top initiative. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Friday, July 22, 2011.
