PUBLIC NOTICES 2011-12 :: OCTOBER 12, 2011


In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding contracts utilizing Race to the Top funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to North Carolina State University, Technical Outreach for Public Schools (TOPS). With this contract, TOPS will continue the ongoing maintenance of all modules developed under this Race to the Top initiative in the Spring and Summer of 2011, making sure that all updates and revisions are applied as needed. In addition, TOPS will develop, design, maintain, and host four additional modules for the ACRE Common Core and Essential Standards and will facilitate DPI's ability to create course templates and reports for the purpose of tracking participation in Common Core and Essential Standards for Race to the Top. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
