PUBLIC NOTICES 2012-13 :: OCTOBER 17, 2012


In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding contracts utilizing Race to the Top funding, the Purchasing &Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC C). This contract is necessary in order to outline the services to be provided by UNC C to North Carolina Teacher Corps (NCTC) candidates. The services required by UNC C include providing coursework to fulfill North Carolina teacher licensure requirements for NCTC candidates. This in turn ensures highly qualified teachers placed in high needs subject areas and schools across North Carolina. This contract is expected to run from date of award through June 30, 2013. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Wednesday, October 17, 2012.
