RACE TO THE TOP CONTRACT – NCSU KENAN FELLOWS
In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding contracts utilizing Race-to-the-Top funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to the North Carolina State University Kenan Fellows Program. The State is transitioning to the Common Core Standards for English, Language Arts and Mathematics and the North Carolina Essential Standards for the rest of the courses in the Standard Course of Study. The Kenan Fellows Program will provide twenty Kenan Fellows to develop curriculum projects and professional development. The Fellows will also assist with the design of repositories of curriculum support materials for the Common Core and Essential Standards. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Wednesday, March 7, 2013.
