PUBLIC NOTICES 2013-14 :: SEPTEMBER 20, 2013

ARRA CONTRACT ALERT - SKILLSOFT

In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding procurements utilizing American Recovery & Re-Investment Act (ARRA) funding (specifically Race to the Top (RttT) funding), the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to Skillsoft Corporation of procuring a Customer Service Curriculum for NC DPI for a period of one year.  ARRA/RttT funding requirements allow NC DPI to partner with another State Agency that is operating a product to meet the requirements of an RttT objective (which includes purchasing a Customer Service Curriculum.  We will be partnering with the NC Office of State Human Resources to amend their contract with Skillsoft Corporation in order to obtain this Customer Service Curriculum.  A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Friday, September 20, 2013. Questions resulting from this notice may be directed to Mike Beaver, Purchasing Agent III, Purchasing & Contracts Section, 919.807.3683; or, michael.beaver@dpi.nc.gov
