PUBLIC NOTICES 2014-15 :: JUNE 17, 2015


In accordance with the North Carolina Office of Economic Recovery & Investment policy regarding procurements utilizing American Recovery & Re-Investment Act funding, the Purchasing & Contracts Section of the NC Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) will be posting a "Notice of Intent" to award a contract to YOREL, A CORUS360 Company for the purpose of for the purpose of providing the Lotus Domino and the DB2 Content Manager software subscriptions. Lotus Domino is the development framework and hosting web server software for the following DPI applications (HRMS Statewide Applicant System, EC Grants, WDE, SBE Agendas and School Bus Surplus). DB2 Content Manager is used by the DPI Licensure system for database applications. YOREL is uniquely qualified for this request, since they have provided these software subscriptions since 2011. It is critical to expand upon this relationship with YOREL to maintain standardization and compatibility with these products in order to complete Race-to-the Top activities associated with ARRA funding. A "Notice of Intent" for this award will be posted on the NC Department of Administration, Division of Purchase and Contract's Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
