

PREZELL R. ROBINSON SCHOLARS PROGRAM
An alumnus of Saint Augustine's College, Dr. Prezell Robinson earned his masters and doctoral degrees from Cornell University in 1951 and 1956, respectively. He has been awarded honorary doctoral degrees for his achievements by 12 colleges and universities including Cuttington University in Monrovia, Liberia; the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee; Columbia University in New York City; and North Carolina State University in Raleigh. He was a United States Fulbright Fellow to India in 1965.

APPLICATION
Applications for the 2010-2011 school year will be available December 2009. Applications will be sent to the central administrative offices of those districts that are eligible to participate. Completed applications must be in the Scholarship Office at the Department of Public Instruction by 5:00 PM on February 26, 2010. New awards for the 2010-2011 school year will be announced May 2010.
