RESOURCES

Do Something
Peruse some great projects for inspiration, go do something great and then post it here.

Facing the Future People and the Planet
Facing the Future develops young people’s capacity and commitment to create thriving, sustainable, and peaceful local and global communities.

Learning In Deed
The concept at the heart of the Initiative is service-learning – a teaching strategy that links community service experiences to classroom instruction. The Foundation has supported service-learning for decades because they believe it engages youth in a powerful way that can help ensure a bright future for our nation.

Learning to Give
Learning to Give offers lesson plans, activities, and resources to educate youth about the power of philanthropy (sharing time, talent and treasure).

National Service-Learning Partnership
The Partnership concentrates on strengthening the impact of service-learning on young people's learning and development, especially their academic and civic preparation. The Partnership supports members sharing resources, organizing change, and sponsoring innovation.

The Giraffe Heroes Project
We tell the stories of Giraffe Heroes—people we commend for sticking their necks out for the common good. Their stories inspire others to take on the public challenges they see—speaking out against corruption, building bridges across conflicts, taking a stand against injustice, being a voice for the powerless.

Youth Service America
Youth Service America (YSA) is a resource center that partners with thousands of organizations committed to increasing the quality and quantity of volunteer opportunities for young people, ages 5-25, to serve locally, nationally, and globally.
