NC SCHOOL REPORT CARDS

WHAT'S NEW IN THE 2015-16 REPORT CARDS?

The 2015-16 NC School Report Cards are tentatively set to release on Monday, November 14, 2016. For the most part, this release will be a data refresh. However, there are some additions to the Report Cards.

  • ¬†Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) are replaced with Participation Targets. North Carolina is not required to report AMO proficiency targets for 2015-16 and 2016-17.
  • A new report to include Wireless Access Points per classroom has been added to help evaluate digital access for students.
  • DPI has collaborated again with SAS to create a user-friendly online interface. It will be available in conjunction with SAS VA and will go live on November 14.

Similar to last year, the School Report Cards data will be released in stages. The READY Accountability data, as well as several other indicators, will be included in the first release on November 14. The remaining few indicators (Teacher Quality/Educator Effectiveness; College Enrollment; Course Completion) will be released at a later date as they become available.
